When you spend your day here, your family can enjoy things like hayrides, a barnyard playground, darling farm animals, and the five-acre corn maze. Once it’s time to go get your pumpkin in Raleigh, you can hop aboard their tractors for a hayride out to the patch, where you can pick your own straight from the vine! Before you leave, you can stop by the farm store for added decorations to get you into the autumn spirit!

The Family Farm on Avent Ferry

The Family Farm on Avent Ferry is a picturesque farm nestled in the Holly Springs countryside. This award-winning space has been family-owned for 6 generations, with something happening each and every season. During the warmest months, you can enjoy shaved ice. Then, once Christmas hits, this is your spot to find the perfect tree. They offer a huge variety of pumpkins in their Raleigh area patch as well as other decorations, including corn stalks and hay bales. Be sure to say hi to all the farm critters while you are there!

DJ’s Berry Patch

DJ’s Berry Patch opens up to the public each spring! This farm offers fresh produce, whether you want to stop by their stand or head out to the fields to pick it yourself. Things start out each year with strawberry season, with some of the sweetest berries in all of North Carolina! Then, once fall hits, you can find rows of pumpkins perfect for decking out your front porch. They have a bit of everything from carving pumpkins to jack-o-lanterns. All the pumpkins have been pre-picked and curated to bring you the very greatest selection! As if all this wasn’t enough, the farm has a variety of other favorites, including hay bales, corn stalks, gourds, Indian corn, apples, and mums.
