Fall is a marvelous season that never seems to last long enough. It feels like the second we hit the middle of September, it’s a mad rush to find a way to enjoy this magical time. If you could use a little help making the most of this season, I would love to help you out. As a Raleigh family photographer, I love working with parents to help them find brand new ways to make memories all year long. Here are the fall activities in Raleigh I think you will love!
6100 Mount Herman Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27617
Each year in Raleigh at the end of September, Page Farms starts up their annual activities and Fall Harvest. When you purchase a ticket to this event, you are going to have access to hayrides, the barnyard playground, and the farm animals. There’s even a five acre corn maze you can explore with your entire family! Before you leave, check out the pumpkin patch where you can find the perfect jack-o-lantern.
4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27607
Be sure to mark your Raleigh activities calendar so you don’t miss out on the North Carolina State Fair this fall! This annual event happens each year around mid-October and stays open for the next 10 days. During this time, you’ll have no shortage of activities from rides and attractions to major competitions. And of course, the food here is unmatched!
1030 Richardson Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina 27603
If you love live music, Falling for Local is your ideal event! This annual showcase features a stage with music from some of the best bands in Raleigh. In addition to the non-stop tunes, there are over 50 local food trucks, an array of North Carolina craft beers and ciders, and over 100 vendors. The best part? It’s completely free to get in!
160 E. Park St, Cary, North Carolina 27511
For one day each year, just outside of Raleigh, Cary hosts a Farmers Fall Festival in downtown Cary Park full of activities. During this celebration, local farmers bring in all their crops for the city to enjoy! Not only is there fabulous food, but you can also check out a children’s village, games, interactive exhibits, live music, arts and crafts, and a pie-eating competition.
6800 Good Hope Church Road, Cary, North Carolina 27519
Phillips Farms opens up throughout each autumn for adventures unlike any other. Younger kids are going to adore the gigantic corn box, while adults will love all the lawn games set out in the pasture. There’s a mega slide, tractor rides, and a haunted corn maze with just the right amount of thrills. Before you leave, you can grab a pumpkin to take home and decorate.
If you are looking for the best ways to make some memories this autumn, you are going to love these fall activities in Raleigh! Be sure to check them out so you don’t miss a single thing this year.
