From the very beginning, everything is built around comfort. Your newborn session is baby-led, which means we take our time and follow their needs — feeding breaks, snuggles, and diaper changes are all part of it. Whether your baby sleeps the whole time or needs to be held between every photo, we’ll create something beautiful either way.

Sessions take place either in your home or in my natural-light studio in Raleigh NC. Some families love the cozy, real-life feel of their own space. Others prefer to step into a quiet, pre-styled studio and just relax. Both work beautifully — it’s all about what makes you feel more at ease.

You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t have to bring props. You don’t even have to feel totally ready. I’ll gently guide you through everything, capturing honest, connected moments that feel like your family — not a performance.

From Newborn Photos to Artwork You’ll Keep Forever

About two weeks after your newborn session, we’ll meet again for your image reveal and ordering appointment. Whether we meet in person or over Zoom, I’ll walk you through your gallery and help you select how you want to preserve your images — in an heirloom album, framed prints, or custom wall art made for your home.

This part matters because newborn photography isn’t just about getting a few pretty photos. It’s about giving you something lasting — something your baby will grow up seeing every day, a quiet reminder of how deeply they’ve been loved from the very beginning.
