Crabtree Valley Mall kicks things off early in Raleigh with their Santa season starting the second week of November. This location has become a beloved annual tradition for so many families all across the Research Triangle area! Your child can bring their Christmas wishlist and tell Santa what they want for the holidays. By the way, I always tell my clients to keep an eye on the schedule. Normally, they have a weekly night where you can bring along your pets for a pic with the entire family!

Santa’s Wonderland At Cabela’s

Each year, Cabela’s hosts a Santa Wonderland at their Raleigh area store. The shops go beyond a quick picture with the jolly man himself! During your time here, your child can make Christmas crafts, try out some games, and spend time in the play areas. You can schedule your appointment on your phone so you’re not waiting around for hours and hours. The best part? All the activities and the 4×6 picture with Santa are completely free!

Christmas Carousel

Christmas Carousel is an annual tradition that happens at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds each Thanksgiving weekend. This space goes all out, welcoming in over 250 vendors to show off their crafts, arts, gifts, decorations, and food. Santa will be on-site from Friday through Saturday offering photo opportunities for Raleigh kids. It’s a great way to meet him while taking care of some of your Christmas list!

MAKRS Holiday Fest

Fayetteville Street, downtown Raleigh, North Carolina

MAKRS Holiday Fest happens once a year, normally on the first Saturday in December. For this celebration, they bring in over 200 vendors. You can walk down Fayetteville Street and buy from all kinds of different creators. There will be tons of delicious food and festive adult beverages, plus there’s a petting zoo for the kids. Before the day wraps up, be sure to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in their workshop for some pictures you’ll treasure all year long!
